Terms & Conditions
General terms of business for RCI-international and its associations
General Terms of Business
With its Course Catalogue and the option to register via a data bank, RCI-international offers a platform for course announcements, but is not the organizer of these courses. When reserving a place in a training course, you will be establishing a business agreement with the individual organizers (TCI instructors, Member Associations or groups of organizers governed by various legal structures).
A business agreement with the party offering a course must always be in keeping with these general terms of business. If our terms of business are declined, even in part, a business agreement will not take place.
1. Terms of Participation
Seminars are generally open to everyone. Exceptions are noted in certain individual seminar announcements. TCI seminars are not therapy seminars. An average ability to work under pressure is therefore expected of all participants. When registering for a course, participants take responsibility for their actions.
2. Course Registration
Course registration is carried out online at www.tci-living-learning.org. Your booking will be automatically confirmed (at which time a contract is concluded) and sent to the office in charge of administering your course.
3. Course Fees
Members of RCI Member Associations pay discounted fees. In general, every seminar provides for one or two scholarships for its participants belonging to RCI Member Associations. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please inform the course administrator, who will be able to provide you with more detailed information about the conditions.
4. Payment
Course fees are to be transferred to the account specified by the course administrator. Payment in installments can also be arranged with the course administrator. We ask for timely payment, otherwise reminder fees will be charged.
5. Accommodation
Course fees do not include room and board, unless otherwise specified. When registering you will automatically be reserving accommodation as well. Should you wish to book your own accommodation, please inform your course administrator. Otherwise, you may be liable to cancellation fees.
6. Cancellation
Cancellations can only be accepted by e-mail or letter. Cancellations should be addressed to the respective course administration. The date of receipt of the declaration by the course administration is decisive.
In case of cancellation the following fees are due: 1. If you cancel your registration 14 days after receiving the confirmation of registration, a cancellation fee of 25 EUR will be charged. 2. If you cancel later than eight weeks before the course starts, 25% of the seminar fee is due as well as, if applicable, a cancellation fee for the conference house booked by the course administration. 3. If the cancellation is made less than six weeks before the start of the course, 50% and from four weeks before the start of the course, 100% of the seminar fee as well as any cancellation fees for the conference house booked by the course management are due.
The contractual partner can prove a lower damage at any time.
If the seminar is cancelled by the offering party or if a substitute from the waiting list is able to move up for you, you will be refunded the amount paid. Any further liability is excluded. As a rule, the seminars take place with at least eight participants.
7. Certificates
Upon completion of the seminar, you will receive a certificate of participation for your study book, as well as a certificate confirming completion of further professional training, unless you have received a receipt to this effect.
8. Membership
You can become a member of one of RCI-international’s regional or professional groups. Membership in a professional group is subject to certain requirements. Local offices or representatives can provide information on membership.
9. Restriction of liability
Seminars offered in our course program and on our homepage have been carefully selected and reviewed. We are not responsible for mistakes or typing errors, and you may not claim damages as a result of erroneous information.
10. Data protection clause
